Our next meeting will be January 10th, 10:00AM - 12:30PM.
Our host for this meeting is Kenney Robinson and the Hunter College School of Education. The entrance is located on the southwest corner of 68th Street and Lexington Avenue.
Our meeting will focus on Legislative Advocacy Day. This meeting will be relevant for professionals of all levels- from neophyte to veteran. We will use this session as an opportunity to learn more about and prepare for the Legislative Advocacy Day(LAD) in Albany.
CACNY’s Vice Chair of Policy and Advocacy, Danny Tejada, will open the conversation with a review of the NYS Dream Act, ASAP/ACE and the expansion of Opportunity programs.
Emily Task, NYSACAC Government Relations Co-Chair, will also join the conversation to highlight key legislative issues for LAD.
In addition to discussing LAD, we will also provide highlights of the our strategic planning process.
The official address for Hunter is 695 Park Avenue, however, you will need to enter Hunter through the West Building located on the southwest corner of 68th and Lexington with the large glass wall. After entering the West Building, you will need to sign in at the Visitor’s Center (please be sure to have photo identification with you) Take the escalator to the seventh floor, turn left and head to W 714.
