Half Day Pro Bono Clinic: Contracts for Nonprofits Advancing College & Career Access

ABOUT THE CLINIC:  Lawyers Alliance for New York is pleased to invite your nonprofit organization to participate in a legal clinic where experienced volunteer attorneys will assess a contract or program waiver/release, such as:

• operational contracts
• vendor contracts and venue rental agreements
• media and publicity releases
• nondisclosure and confidentiality agreements
• program participant forms and releases
• volunteer applications
• other documents to help protect the organizations and those engaged in its programs. 

During this clinic, we will be prioritizing the placement of nonprofits that are member of the College Access Consortium of New York (CACNY).  However, all groups are welcome to register.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? A board member, executive director, or senior manager of the nonprofit. Nonprofits must have 501(c)(3) status to participate.

WHEN: May 14, 2024 (2 hours 15 minutes)

• 10:00AM-10:30AM: Orientation
• 10:45AM-12:15PM: Clinic Consultations (1.5 hours)

Clients will meet their volunteers in zoom breakout rooms immediately after the orientation session. Organizations can expect to receive their final work product within two weeks after their consultation.
